SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Curriculum Area Manager of the Director, HQ AFOATS Curriculum Division (AFOATS/ CR). This position serves as the primary curriculum development support for AFROTC and OTS academic programs. DUTIES: Serves as a faculty instructor in all areas of instructor training for AFOATS including educational methods, communications skills, educational foundations, evaluations and instructional design.
Reviews core curriculum and makes recommendations of learning objectives, course content, methodology, textbook design, evaluation instruments, editing and production, and other related aspects of curriculum development. Conducts research and maintains professional relationships. Major participant in instructor professional development.
Identifies and informs supervisor of anticipated vacancies, personnel shortfalls, workload changes and other factors affecting staff replacements or additions in a timely manner. Functions as an AFOATS Student Evaluation Officer.
