The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a course developer and instructor for administrative, office skills, interpersonal skills, process improvement, leadership, and other general training.
Applies principles of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) to analyze the need for, and to develop and sustain automated education and training instructional material. Plans, coordinates, designs and validates major components of 'soft-skills' training instructional design. Uses a practical knowledge of a wide range of approaches in instructional systems development to produce effective learning maps and to perform sound learning analyses.
Conducts traditional classroom and technology-enhanced learning instruction. Secures classroom space and announces upcoming classes. Accomplishes special projects that frequently involve education and training matters internal and external to the employee's specialty area.
Develops and implements special projects designed to improve procedures, responds to general taskings, answers internal, external and higher headquarter inquiries, or corrects a deficiency affecting several organizational units.
