The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Intelligence analyst providing technical analysis and analytic support in the acquisition and employment of current and future Air Force capabilities. Engages in semicomplex to complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

DUTY 1 - Serves as an Intelligence Analyst supporting acquisition processes and programs. Provides Air Force programs/initiatives with high quality intelligence and intelligence support to identify and minimize cost, schedule, and performance risks as early in the system's life-cycle as possible. DUTY 2 - Conducts semi-complex to complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.

Interprets and makes analytic judgments on broad-based and domain/discipline specific intelligence products, applications, capabilities, and resources in support of acquisition intelligence and intelligence support activities. DUTY 3 - Identifies requirements and presents ISR capabilities to a variety of acquisition customers.

Provides customers intelligence information and analysis derived from ISR assets to support effective development, fielding, employment, sustainment, and improvement of Air Force capabilities. DUTY 4 - Serves as a functional expert on specific ISR programs, systems, or issues. Makes recommendations and defends intelligence positions to the program office, directorate and/or center leadership, and other command-level or external customers.
