The primary purpose of this position is to advise ACC/A2 Intelligence Tradecraft Division leadership, staff, and subordinate units on intelligence analysis, targeting, collection, and other intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) tradecraft, standards, policy and guidance, training requirements, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
- As Technical Advisor, plans, organizes, and recommends courses of action regarding intelligence analysis, targeting, collection, and other ISR tradecraft, standards, policy and guidance, training requirements, and TTP. - Directs ACC intelligence capability working group (CWG) activities for ACC-assigned Lead MAJCOM responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and develops Air Force-wide objectives, participation, and agendas for analysis, targeting, collections, and other CWGs.
- Represents ACC/A2 with a variety of installation, functional area, Air Force, Joint, DoD, and industry organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with ACC Wings, Numbered Air Forces and Centers, AOCs, HQ ACC staff, MAJCOMs, Combatant Commander Components, HQUSAF, and Intelligence Community and Combat Support Agencies.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
