The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer, to serve as a Flight Commander in an AFRC Intelligence Squadron. The employee has responsibility for all intelligence operational training and operational matters for the unit. The employee also has responsibility for orchestrating related Air Force Reserve integration into global Air Force ISR operations and training via associated programs.
DUTY 1: Provides expertise on Intelligence operations, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, All-Source / Fusion Analysis, and intelligence products for execution of intelligence taskings, collection, processing, analysis and dissemination. DUTY 2: Organizes, plans, and oversees the activities of the unit's operations and training programs. DUTY 3: Serves as an AFRC intelligence expert, interfacing with AFRC and AF Operations Centers, to maintain command/control/oversight and tasking of Air Force Reserve Forces within the Intelligence Squadron as well as Regular Air Force (RegAF) units, missions, and operations. DUTY 4: Manages the Flight operations and training, apportioning and scheduling programs for assigned members. DUTY 5: Manages training and readiness for the Flight.
