The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a criminal intelligence analyst engaging in the complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) law enforcement mission.
Serves as a criminal intelligence analyst on complex technical analysis and production activities. Presents AFOSI capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Conducts complex criminal intelligence analysis of multi-source intelligence.
Manages criminal intelligence production, participates in the direction, coordination, review and evaluation of law enforcement activities within AFOSI, and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies. Provides recommendations to functional authority on criminal intelligence issues for Agency leadership.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
