The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Quality Assurance Manager/Auditor within the Financial Management organization to ensure the Comptroller Squadron complies with regulatory requirements. To plan, coordinate and perform comprehensive reviews, special studies and selective internal examinations of base level financial management programs.
- Manages the Financial Management Quality Assurance Program and Measures Organizational Performance - Oversight of Unit Self-Inspection Program Oversees the unit Self-Inspection Program. Schedules the unit Self Inspections and ensures all branches and sections have access to the most current and appropriate checklists - Ensures Effective Internal Controls - Promotes Continuous Improvement Practices - Provides Program Advice, Assistance and Guidance Devises and recommends the adoption of procedures to implement financial quality assurance processes, policies and regulations
