The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Quality Assurance Manager within the Financial Management organization and as such to plan, coordinate and perform comprehensive reviews, special studies and selective internal examinations of base level financial management program.
- Measures Organizational Performance: Collects monthly Performance Indicator data from the various branches and sections. - Ensures Effective Internal Controls: Oversees Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program. Focal point for fraud prevention measures. - Promotes Continuous Improvement Practices: Determines the methods to be used in conducting Quality Assurance Reviews. - Attends Staff Meetings.
Attends and participates in all Comptroller staff meetings, and branch level meetings when requested to do so.
