Job Summary

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Security Operations Division. As an Investigative Analyst (Enterprise Fraud Risk Management Program), you will perform specialized business analysis, and business data analytics of a wide variety of financial data related to government payments, fraudulent misdirected payments, payment resolution activities, and payment post payment operations and integrity controls.

Major Duties

As an Investigative Analyst (Enterprise Fraud Risk Management Program), you will: Serve as a technical expert in the examination of any potentially fraudulent activity and correspondence as applicable including the analysis of system data, customer data, and any other data elements available to deter fraudulent activity. Serve as primary expert liaison with all areas of fraud internal and external to the Fiscal Service including other Federal, State, and local law enforcement offices. You will also serve as expert liaison to other Federal Program Agencies regarding potentially fraudulent matters. Participate in investigation of financial crimes which may involve trust fund, payroll, disability compensation, and health benefits fraud or any other activity conducted at the Fiscal Service. Provide fact witness testimony on behalf of investigative and legal entities as to any suspected fraudulent activity. Develop and implement a system of external and internal controls to prevent, uncover, and to aid in the investigation of criminal administrative fraud.
