Job Summary

This position is located in the DEA, Phoenix Field Division, in Phoenix Arizona. This position's primary purpose is to provide consultative/planning, advising, continuously evaluating advancements in technology and equipment for adoption/modification of the ST program DEA wide.

Key Responsibilities

As a your typical work assignments may include: Translating unusual operational or functional requirements to initiate corrective actions for optimizing use of existing equipment and provides recommendations to support future requirements. Performing periodic reviews of existing equipment, services, and systems to validate established requirements for electronic surveillance/telecommunications intercept operations.

Assisting in providing instruction in the use of electronic surveillance for investigative and enforcement operations. Analyzing requirements relating to the software and circuitry of electronic surveillance and telecommunications systems.
