Key Responsibilities

If selected for this position you will independently plan and conduct complex investigations and/or financial examinations relating to civil actions and participate in investigative activities with Federal, State, and local officials.

Typical work assignments will include: Working with assigned attorneys and other legal staff to determine the applicable administrative statutory and regulatory law and identify possible violations or causes of action; Participates in investigative activities with Federal, State, and local law enforcement entities, including the identification for services of warrants and subpoenas and secures participation of other law enforcement agent to conduct; Conducting searches of files, records, etc.; Assisting with and/or independently conducting interviews of witnesses; Compiling, indexing, and organizing a voluminous number of documents and physical evidence; Arranging storage and preservation of documentary evidence; Creating charts, graphs, videotapes, and other audio-visual materials for use in court proceedings; Preparing interim and final reports on the progress of investigations.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements & Education

All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
