The primary purpose of this position is to perform work related to the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and/or improvement of internal administrative operations and organization management in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and contract specialist for HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2, exercising a high degree of independent judgment for comprehensive management and oversight of a diverse portfolio of complex, high dollar value service contracts and commodity purchases essential to the command's intelligence mission. - Performs essential budget analysis and financial execution duties, applying expert-level knowledge of fiscal principles to support the command's intelligence mission and enable successful contract and program execution. - As a program manager within the ISR Programs and Resources branch (A2RX), performs in-depth analysis and provides critical, direct support for the command's complex Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
