This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA), Information Systems Division, Core Enterprise Facility Transformation Section (TIC), Data Processing & Functional Programming Unit (TICF). This position(s) primary purpose is to develop, modify, and enhance Special Operations Division's (SOD) investigative technology initiatives and support the Office of Special Intelligence (NS) classified systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a IT Project Manager, your typical work assignments may include: Planning, directing, developing, and coordinating long-range objectives and milestones for IT projects that involve substantive, mission-oriented programs, such as projects implementing enterprise-level applications and/or changes to IT infrastructure to meet an agency's modified business processes. Participating in working groups at the DOJ and NSA level in AI policy and governance.
Serving as the senior technical authority responsible for designing, engineering, modifying, integrating, and enhancing highly classified enterprise information technology systems supporting sensitive law enforcement and intelligence operations. Interpreting highly complex operational, business, intelligence, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
Serving as a COR Level II responsible for reviewing deliverables and documents in relation to the original contract award workplan, amount, and completion timeline, ensuring appropriate approvals and funding availability.
