Key Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist (Data Science), your duties will include: Develop and implement IT data science solutions for collecting, processing, storing, managing, and integrating complex data from diverse sources to support organizational and research requirements. Analyze large and complex data sets using statistical software, programming languages, and analytical methods to identify trends, evaluate information, and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, reporting tools, and other applications that enable users to explore, analyze, interpret, and communicate data. Evaluate and apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to improve data management, analysis, automation, and IT solutions.

Evaluate data management tools, applications, databases, cloud-based services, and other technologies to improve data integration, interoperability, quality, accessibility, and performance. Collaborate with scientists, researchers, IT specialists, data scientists and data driven professionals, and other stakeholders to identify requirements, address technical issues, and develop data and technology solutions that support research and organizational goals.

Provide technical guidance and recommendations on data architecture, data governance, data science methods, analytical tools, and emerging technologies, and contribute to the development of data standards, strategies, and best practices.
