This position is located in the Office of Information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. This position performs enterprise IT risk analysis, architecture planning, and technology evaluation to support secure modernization and enterprise IT decisions across systems, cloud, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist, GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops and maintains enterprise IT strategies, target architectures, and modernization roadmaps covering applications, data, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Conducts technical analysis to identify gaps, interoperability issues, performance limitations, security weaknesses, and modernization opportunities.
Develops technical documentation including architecture diagrams, dependency models, capability maps, and transition plans. Analyzes complex business and mission requirements and translates them into technical architecture recommendations and solution requirements. Research and apply Federal IT policies, NIST standards, Zero Trust architecture principles, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and modernization alignment.
