Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK SERVICES), Position Description Number T60019P1 and is part of the 224 ADG, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
Key Responsibilities
As an ITSPECIALIST (NETWORK SERVICES) (GS-2210-11), you will serve as a base systems administrator to monitor the Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN), including the planning, analysis, acquisition, design, development, implementation, quality assurance, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance testing, operational integrity, and/or management of networked systems for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
Requirements & Education
If you are using only education to qualify for this position, Must have Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in related field or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in related field.
Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your Educational claims.
To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
