The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Requirements Planner and Cyberspace Operations (CO) Planner, Plans Division of the Cyber Operations - Integrated Planning Element (CO-IPE). **Salary ranges include local market supplements.**
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the CO-IPE Plans Division, ensures comprehensive integration of complex cyberspace operations and capabilities leveraging extensive experiences and skill in support of JFHQ-C (AF), 16 AF, DCDC, and USCYBERCOM to accomplish joint, service and national missions and complies with legal and regulatory requirements to meet customer needs.
Serves as a Cyber Effects Planner, subject matter expert on CO to bridge the operational to tactical gaps and provide relevant support to CCMD planning.
Defines and applies principles and theories of enterprise architecture approach to include purpose (duty to protect), mission need (risk assessment), and controls (design controls to protect) in order to identify, assess, and recommend cybersecurity or cybersecurity-enabled solutions for use within a system and ensure that recommended products are in compliance with organization's evaluation and validation requirements.
Provides operational, managerial, procedural, policy requirements and oversight along with resource activities. Provides overall specific guidance, continuity and direction that impacts cyberspace operations planning and integration for the CO-IPE and influences the same at the CCMD, 16AF/JFHQ-C/AFCYBER, USCYBERCOM and its component levels and directly impacts mission accomplishment.
Represents CO-IPE in meetings, conferences, working groups and planning teams at the department, joint force, and service levels.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Department, CCMD, Air Staff, MAJCOM and most frequently with USCYBERCOM, DCDC, JFHQ-C/Service Cyber Components in order to discuss matters of policy, procedure, advanced planning principles, technical process in order to fulfill cyberspace operations gaps with new or developing methodologies and to inform future policy and procedure.

The posted pay range is $133233 – $173208/yr.
