Job Summary
The incumbent will serve as a senior Information Technology (IT) Specialist (Policy and Planning), and report to the Information Technology Policy and Review Office (ITPRO) Director.
The incumbent will lead and perform major Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policy-related activities including Section 508 oversight, legislative review and evaluation, and oversight of special projects requested by the ITPRO Director, OCIO Deputy Director or NIH Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Key Responsibilities
Advise and consult senior leadership on new or revised federal policy, standards, guidance, regulations (including information security policy) and federal mandates that have significant impact on the NIH mission, IT operations, and management.
