Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Communications and Information Systems Officer (CSO) senior information technology (IT) specialist and consultant to management in support of DoD, USAF, DIA, NSA, ACC, 24AF, 67CW, AFISRA, 802CS and other higher headquarters IT policy and plans. **Salary ranges include local market supplements.**
Key Responsibilities
Performs as equipment control officer (ECO) to functional users, studies and establishes plans of action for improving the efficiency of information technology applications. Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IT activities. Functions as a senior technical advisor on contract and ITAM consultant plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT assets.
Represents the AFISRA at conferences and meetings and presents briefings.
