The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a system administrator performing duties and responsibilities for JWICS. Responsible for information technology requirements management associated with enterprise-wide Information Technology (IT) systems, supplies and services. *Salary ranges include local market supplements.*
Performs systems analysis and web application design functions by conducting independent research and analysis on multi-source intelligence information and systems. Creates software design consistent with system design and overall project objectives and produces source code implementing the software design. Serves as the customer advocate for web applications and directs software developers as well as system administrators to meet all requirements for customers.
Serves as a technical advisor to management in key web based mission areas.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
