Job Summary
This position serves as a laborer with the Facility Management Department at the Pine Ridge Service Unit in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The position performs a variety of laboring duties, including ground maintenance, cleaning, and general facility and surrounding area maintenance. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Key Responsibilities
Performs general maintenance and grounds maintenance tasks. Performs cleaning and custodial tasks using appropriate equipment and supplies. Operates and performs routine maintenance on hand tools, power tools, and grounds/cleaning equipment. Moves, stocks, and delivers materials, supplies, and equipment. Assists with preventive maintenance and minor repairs and identifies or reports needed repairs.
