Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish all tasks needed to develop and validate English language proficiency tests and testing systems and programs (traditional and computerized) for local, CONUS, and overseas use, employing state-of-the art techniques and conforming to current measurement theory; to manage test databanks and databases by establishing, analyzing, and modifying them as needed and determined by the input, retrieval, and interpretation of test data from them; to maintain test control and security; to conduct analyses of test, testing data, and test systems, and generate oral and written instructions and reports based on these studies and on the development of new assessment devices; to ensure that all achievement test meet prescribed standards; and to conduct training on the design, development, and administration of English language assessment tools.
Duties: Designs, develops, reviews, revises, and administers test. Maintains, manages, and adapts traditional and computer-based testing programs. Analyzes test and interprets statistical analyses. Prepares and delivers briefings, classes, and oral presentation; generates reports and other documents. Serves as a team leader in test programming/analysis projects.
