This position serves the Environmental Management Service at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. This position accomplishes work related to laundry operations to include working with a large assortment of production equipment to complete work.
Key Responsibilities
Major Duties: Responsible for the operation of laundry production equipment Sorting, pre-soaking, washing, drying and folding linens maintaining awareness of any malfunctions of machines Perform required care and maintenance of machines Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional weekends and holidays Position Description Title/PD#: Laundry Machine Operator/PD11277A Critical Skills Incentive (CSI): Not Approved Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized
