Key Responsibilities
As the Law Enforcement Coordination Specialist in the Western District of New York, you will perform a variety of duties to promote the effective utilization of federal, state, and local law enforcement resources. If selected, you will receive formal and/or on-the-job training as needed.
Duties include: Establishing and maintaining communication between the United States Attorney's Office and federal, state, and local organizations; Coordinating law enforcement programs by providing a regular forum for organization representatives; Analyzing law enforcement programs, audiences, and priorities; Identifying the informational and resource needs of law enforcement organizations; Developing and disseminating relevant information through appropriate media; and Managing a comprehensive Law Enforcement Coordination program Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
