The U.S. Secret Service is seeking retired Federal Employee Retirement under FERS or Civil Service Retirement System CSRS and ICTAP eligibles to support our integrated mission and impart knowledge and experience to the current workforce. This position serves as a Law Enforcement Specialist (Instructor) in a major program area that supports the U.S. Secret Service and the protective and investigative mission sets.

Key Responsibilities
The selectee will serve as a Law Enforcement Specialist (Instructor) in the Office of Training, James J Rowley Training Center. Typical work assignments include: Using a variety of advanced instructional methods (e.g., seminars, multimedia instructions, and demonstration) to instruct students in basic to advanced techniques in a law enforcement specialty area.
Designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials intended for practical application such as: lesson plans, support materials, practical exercises development, and use of training areas. Analyzing trainee performance data to identify training needs and implement evidence-based, law enforcement-focused instruction that maintains a professional and effective training program.
Instructing criminal investigators in basic to advanced techniques involving an area of law enforcement that is complex, constantly changing and controversial. This Law Enforcement Specialist (Instructor) position starts at a base salary of $90,925.00, GS-13 Step 1, with potential to $118,204.00, GS-13 Step 10.
