The primary purpose of this position is to provide a lead cargo scheduler for any of the three shifts in the Air Terminal Operations Center, a 24-hour per day, 7-day per week operation. Primary responsibilities include performing the full range of cargo scheduling duties and leading other cargo schedulers in performance the full range of cargo scheduling duties.

Key Responsibilities
Reviews daily flying schedules for forecasted missions with special interest on routings and capability forecast worksheets depicting space blocks of high priority cargo/passengers.
Selects specific cargo/mail to be airlifted for scheduled aircraft in consideration of such factors as type and configuration of aircraft, priorities of available cargo/mail, allowable cabin load, date cargo/mail received for shipment, status of cargo, routing of aircraft, sequence on loading/offloading. Selects, manifests, and validates hazardous cargo for movement on military/commercial aircraft. Prepares and distributes load plan, AF Form 4080, to various work centers.
Lead military cargo schedulers in the performance of load planning functions.
