DISA has delegated authority by the Under Secretary of Defense to directly appoint qualified candidates possessing a finance, accounting, management, or actuarial science degree, or a related degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study, or equivalent experience, related to the functions of the position to be filled.
As Team Lead, serves as intermediary between the team and upper management. Articulates assignments, plans subordinate work, trains or arranges training, provides input to the supervisor on performance management and personnel administration.
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level. To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S.
