The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position. Distributes, balances, monitors and reports on workload in accordance with established workflow or job specialization.
Assuresequitable distribution among employees and timely accomplishment of assigned workload. Amends or rejects work not meeting established standards and refers to supervisor any problems on meeting performance standards. Maintains current knowledge of procedures, policies and directives; answers questions; and provides both classroom and OJTinstruction to employees.
Resolves simple informal complaints, refers others to supervisor; reports on performance, progress and training needs of employees and on disciplinary problems. Performs administrative duties in the absence of the manager. Makes suggestions concerning personnel actions and recognition of outstanding performance. A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
