Job Summary
This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Human Resources Directorate (HRD), Technology and Data Support Division. Serves as a Lead Human Resources Specialist in the HRD Processing Branch.
Key Responsibilities
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Applies technical expertise in reviewing and processing a wide range of personnel actions for a large customer base. Leads the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow. Serves as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Intercedes with the supervisor on behalf of the team to inform the supervisor of performance management issues or problems and recommends/requests related actions such as assignments, reassignments, promotions, tour of duty changes, peer reviews, and performance appraisals.
