The Associate Chief Counsel (Finance & Management) supports the administrative, financial, and managerial programs of the Office of Chief Counsel and provides advice to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on all management matters for the organization nationwide.
This position, in the Financial Management Branch of the Planning & Finance Division, will serve as a lead analyst, supporting Division, F&M, and Counsel leadership on a broad range of high-level, complex, and interdisciplinary programs that involve a focus on strategic financial management, advanced analysis, and cross-functional program and financial management.
As a Lead Management Analyst, you will: Participate in broad, complex, long-term studies and research projects requiring application of advanced analytical and statistical methods and collaboration with the Office's senior management officials; Coordinate across Counsel and, as necessary, IRS and Treasury to gather information, expertise, and resources; Develop and recommend a wide range of financial and programmatic policies, standards, and procedures; Develop and recommend a wide range of strategic financial management programs; Provide recommendations and expert advice to initiate, develop, or modify policies, procedures, systems, objectives, operations, and resource utilization; and Provide analytical expertise in conducting broad and in-depth studies of assigned programs.
