Job Summary

The incumbent serves as a Lead Medical Support Assistant in the Community Care Department at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This position is under the supervision of the Community Care Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Major Duties: Monitors work load and work load distribution, Resolves daily workplace issues. Maintains efficient workflow. Provides input on performance, and performs audits assigned by the supervisor. Provides guidance to MSA's in adherence to policy and procedures. Orientates and provides training to new and current employees, and ensures training requirements and competencies are met and maintained. Rotates as back up coverage to department ACD line Leads.

Performs other duties assigned by Business Office Management. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Telework: Ad-hoc Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
