Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Position in the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Serves as the Lead Natural Resources Specialist responsible for the management of Corps of Engineers recreation and fish/wildlife mitigation lands for portions of Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri that includes 14 reservoir projects, and lands under the Missouri River Recovery Program (MRRP).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement of a variety of natural resource management and protection programs including soil conservation, fire protection, pollution abatement, cultural resources protection, navigational servitude, and resolution of encroachments.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
