As a Lead Systems Accountant, you will: Assign work priorities, coordinate staff activities, monitor workload, and provide technical guidance for systems accounting operations. Review system requirements, validate testing results, resolve system issues, and coordinate implementation of financial system enhancements. Review accounting transactions, reconcile complex financial data, resolve system-generated discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal accounting requirements. Coordinate audit activities, prepare supporting documentation, respond to audit requests, and monitor implementation of corrective actions. Evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, develop implementation plans, and standardize financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.
