The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
Distributes and balances workload among employees in accordance with established workflow, priorities, and/or job specialization; assures timely accomplishment of assigned work and that each employee has an adequate workload Monitors the status and progress of work and makes day-to-day adjustments in assignments in accordance with established priorities; obtains assistance from the supervisor on problems that cannot be resolved at the leader level, such as significant backlogs or resource constraints.
Maintains current information on workload, assignments, and production, and reports on work accomplishments, progress, and anticipated completion times, as requested by the supervisor. Instructs employees in specific tasks and job techniques, and makes available written instructions, reference materials, and supplies; ensures employees are aware of and follow established procedures.

A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
