The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Lead, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over employees assigned to the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Force Training Branch, NORAD &USNORTHCOM (N&NC) Joint Training and Exercise Directorate and to serve as the Joint Task Force Commanders Training Course (JCTC).
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of military, civilians, and contractors in DSCA Force Training Branch, N&NCJoint Training and Exercise Directorate, ensuring that the branch complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Critical Exercises lead responsibilities.
Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services. Serves as the Joint Task Force Commanders Training Course and the Dual Status Commanders Training CoursesDirector and the Senior National Guard Mobile Training Team Director.
Serves as the the DSCA Branch Senior Program Analyst/Technical Advisor, applying analytical and evaluative trainingprogram experience to plan, organize, develop, analyze, and evaluate course curriculum to meet the training needs ofUSNORTHCOM, National Guard Bureau (NGB), and state/local DSCA leaders and responders Represents DSCA Force Training Branch, N&NC Joint Training and Exercise Directorate with a variety of Joint Staff,Combatant Command, NGB, and state/local organizations.
This position is with United States Space Force, Department of the Air Force.
