The duties and responsibilities for a Legal Administrative Specialist GS-0901-07/09 include providing substantive legal support to the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Typical work assignments will include: Providing technical assistance to litigation teams on legal automation requirements and systems capabilities to develop and facilitate litigation decisions, trial preparation and trial presentation.
Using various software applications to efficiently open cases, close cases, and organize, analyze, and present case materials for discovery. Preparing computerized trial exhibits and presentations using hardware such as printers, plotters, audio-visual devices, among others. Researching, analyzing, and summarizing relevant legal precedents for applicability to assigned cases as appropriate.
Preparing exhibits for legal proceedings involving a wide range of visual materials including charts, diagrams, photographs, and models. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program.
