Key Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Librarian, you will use your knowledge of and experience with to optimize business results and customer experience by: Plans, organizes, and implements CDC Library activities to ensure services meet scientific, legal, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Oversees the development and implementation of library systems, services, and tools that support scientific research and provide access to scholarly resources, including journals, books, databases, and other information sources Serves as advisor for library operations, including circulation, document delivery services, information services, electronic resources management, acquisitions, cataloging, library systems administration, and knowledge management.

Oversees library systems and services that support scientific research and access to scholarly resources. Oversees bibliometric and scholarly impact analysis services to support research evaluation This position has 20% supervisory duties, candidates must also have demonstrated or shown the potential to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
