This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs professional work describing human behavior, determining the reasons for that behavior and/or predicting and/or modifying the behavior. Preforms psychosocial assessments, case management and treatment of patients with problems of personality and emotional adjustment or mental illness.
Preforms psychotherapy with patients, either through individuals or group therapy sessions and uses therapeutic techniques. Provides education to patients, family members and significant others. Develops, documents, and implements treatments plans for patients in the outpatient clinic. Work Schedule: Full time: Four weekdays and a weekend day Telework: May be available on an ad hoc basis.
