This position is located in a State or Area Office in USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent has responsibility for statewide support of Community Programs, including establishing, marketing, managing and servicing loans and grants for community facilities, public utilities, and/or businesses. .
Reviews and analyzes preapplications, applications and all supporting documents to determine loan or grant eligibility and inputs data into appropriate automated database system.
GS-11 level This position does not have an education requirement, but education may be substituted for experience. Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology. GS-12 level There is no education substitution for this grade level.
