Job Summary

This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will serve as the Fuel Integration and Synchronization Officer (FISO) located within the assigned Combatant Command (CCMD).

Key Responsibilities

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serving as primary focal point for USTRANSCOM Global Bulk Fuel Management & Delivery Single Manager authority for the assigned Combatant Command (CCMD). Collaborating with key military and civilian stakeholders to ensure bulk fuel strategies are incorporated into planning and aligned with strategic goals, plans and objectives.

Representing the USTRANSCOM Single Manager and serving as authoritative expert and focal point for bulk fuel planning to the assigned CCMD. Serving as an authoritative expert and focal point for USTRANSCOM bulk fuel posture to the assigned CCMD. Establishing and guiding the assigned CCMD Petroleum Integration Cell (PIC) in collaboration with the Joint Petroleum Officer and DLA-Energy Liaison.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
