The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and direct repair of unserviceable assets within the AF repair enterprise. Provides mission support to include analysis, staff advisory, and consultant assistance to accomplish programs and projects that cross mission and organizational lines.
Serves as a logistics project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related studies and analysis of organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation and efficiency, functions, andwork processes to improve mission effectiveness, and resource allocation. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
