The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Air Force Special Operations Command Lead Weapon System Sustainment Manager (WSS) to provide programmatic expertise on requirements and execution for requirements in Centralized Asset Management (CAM) portfolio.
Serves as the Air Force designated lead MAJCOM and senior level programmatic manager and analyst for Air Force Policy on establishing requirements in direct support of rated aviator operational requirements and allocating resources for DPEM, SE, TO, and CLS. Executes the Air Force process for defining DPEM, SE, TO, and CLS requirements and allocates resources for Air Force activities. Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using logistics and resource planning tools and analytical techniques and monitors financial and non-financial program data to determine if projections are accurate and overall system performance is being achieved. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
