The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Materiel Management Specialist responsible for providing strategic oversight required to successfully manage, sustain, and support all weapon system platforms assigned to the Air National Guard (ANG) Logistics Readiness Squadrons (LRS),Geographically Separated Units (GSU), and Combat Readiness Training Centers (CRTC).
Key Responsibilities
Requires the performance of Materiel Management Specialistand Logistics Supply Chain Manager duties to include but not limited to extensive use and knowledgeof the Accountability Property System of Record (APSR), collaborating with DLA, as well as withsister services or other sources of supply when required. Manages the APSR to ensure all wartime taskings are supportable relative to various systems for the ANG. Attends worldwide meetings as the ANG representative.
Coordinates with HAF, Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), AFMC Combat Ready Airman Office, MAJCOM representatives, and other HQs or staff agencies to ensure logistical support of the initial lay-in of equipment is provided.
This position is with Air National Guard, Department of the Air Force.
