Job Summary
This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in one of the Districts (TFW) in Transmission Field Services (TF) Transmission Services (T). A successful candidate in the Logistics Management Specialist position will serve as a responsible for performing a variety of administrative, analytical, planning, advisory, and other resources are available when needed to support the operation, maintenance, and construction functions for which they are responsible.
Key Responsibilities
As a Logistic Management Specialist, you will: Performs a wide variety of administrative, analytical, planning, advisory, and evaluative work to assist the District Manager in ensuring equipment, materials, supplies, vehicles, and other resources are available when needed to support the facilities and the operation, maintenance, and construction functions for which they are responsible.
Advises on a wide variety of matters to the District Manager and others in assigned functional areas Assists in the development of plans and programs tailored to meet specific BPA needs for assigned location. Develops tools to monitor and analyze construction activities for power system equipment and Non-Electric Plant programs ensuring asset registers, spare part inventories and maintenance program compliance.
Assists in monitoring the agency asset register and maintenance program to ensure international, federal and state (NERC/FERC/ WECC) regulation compliance related functions of the district.
