The primary purpose of this position is to serve as logistics management specialist, a key member of Air Force Materiel Command Supply Chain Management Team and resident Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, developing, evaluating and providing recommendations relating to a broad mix of Logistics and Department of the Air Force Global Supply Chain Management functions. Develops goals, objectives, plans, and organizes projects to accomplish stated goals and objectives.
Represents the organization to a variety of installation, functional area organizations, special task groups, integrated product teams (IPTs), meetings and briefings at the MAJCOM and DOD levels. Serves as the organizations representative and spokesperson in communicating program matters. Development of Self and Organization. Maintains current knowledge of events, technology and organizational policies and procedures which impact current responsibilities.
