The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Logistics Manager and Quality Assurance (QA) lead for the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) with responsibility for analyzing logistics process, practices & procedures across all the squadrons assigned functions providing advice & assistance to the Squadron Commander. Provides advice and assistance to the squadron leadership on business processes and performance/efficiency of the squadron.
As the lead Quality Inspector performs/leads studies, and provides technical advice and assistance on development and implementation of readiness mission capabilities associated with: deployment and distribution, cargo and passenger movement, material management, equipment and vehicles, vehicle maintenance, warehousing, global fuels/cryogenics, plans, programs, resource agreement, policies and procedures.
Represents the installation for wing/squadron logistics readiness issues at higher management-level meetings within the organization and at conferences with MAJCOM, HQ USAF, DOD, and other agencies.
