The primary purpose of this position is to: Directs and manages 5th Air Force logistics functions to providelogistics planning, programming and management services to the headquarters 5th Air Force and subordinate wingslocated at Yokota AB, Misawa AB and Kadena AB.
Directs and manages 5th Air Force logistics support agreements. Participates in politico-military and international affairs affecting the 5th Air Force and Japan Self Defense Force. Provides logistics management and execution expertise for all applicable 5th Air Force assigned programs. Performs high-visibility studies, reports and briefings concerning logistics plans and programs. Performs personnel readiness and deployment management functions for the 5th Air Force Staff.
