The primary purpose of this position is: Serves as DRU Base Support Plan (BSP) Manager supporting the USAF A Superintendent, Wing Commander, Wing staff agencies, group, and squadron units. Primary emphasis is on the integration of multiple asset, personnel and capability reporting.
Oversees the development and updating of the USAF Academy (USAF A) Base Support Plan (BSP) at the DRU and Wing level. Manages the DRU War Reserve Material (WRM) program. Resolves WRM program issues and planning problems. Trains and delegates squadron WRM managers as required. Serves as Assistant DRU Support Agreement Manager (SAM). Prepares/Administers inter- and intra-service support agreements as the Assistant Command Support Agreement Manager (SAM). Performs special projects and additional duties. Independently prepares reports and supporting documents on a variety of logistics topics and brief material to senior logistics personnel.
