Job Summary

You will serve as a Machinist in the Production Resources Australia Maintenance Support of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. ***See Additional Information section below for details***

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and rebuilding parts and items of equipment from raw stock of different metals and metal alloys to include stainless steel alloys, aluminum, titanium, magnesium and other materials.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ***Upon relocation to Australia, employee pay will be based upon the final post of duty to which the employee is assigned in Australia.

Employees directed to a foreign post of duty in Australia may be authorized overseas allowances in accordance with the Department of State Standardized Regulation to include foreign transfer allowance, temporary quarters allowance, living quarters allowance and other allowances to which they are eligible.*** If assigned to perform nuclear work, incumbent must complete and maintain the nuclear program requirements, such as physical examination, qualifications, and security clearances.
