You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor with National Park Service. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Assigns work and provides technical guidance to employees, including assistance with difficult tasks. Communicates expectations, supports management programs, and addresses employee performance, training, and conduct issues. Performs a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, sheetrock installation/repair, finish carpentry, and construction/repair of siding, boardwalks, and tent platforms. Reads and applies building plans, blueprints, and sketches to perform construction tasks. Uses facility management software to document work orders, labor, and material costs.
There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.
